Sot, kryetarja e Shoqatës së Grave të Shërbimit Korrektues të Kosovës, së bashku me anëtaret e saj, ishte e ftuar në një takim nga përfaqësueset e Misionit të Bashkimit Evropian për Sundimin e Ligjit në Kosovë (EULEX). Qëllimi i këtij takimi ishte njohja nga afër me punën, rolin dhe aktivitetet e Shoqatës së Grave të Shërbimit Korrektues të Kosovës, si dhe shkëmbimi i ideve dhe diskutimi i mundësive të reja për bashkëpunim dhe përkrahje nga ana e EULEX-it.
Gjatë takimit u theksua rëndësia e fuqizimit të rolit të gruas në Shërbimin Korrektues të Kosovës, si dhe avancimi i kapaciteteve profesionale, përfaqësimit dhe përfshirjes së grave në proceset vendimmarrëse. Përfaqësueset e EULEX-it shprehën gatishmërinë për të vazhduar mbështetjen e tyre në iniciativa që synojnë forcimin e pozitës së gruas dhe promovimin e barazisë gjinore në Shërbimin Korrektues të Kosovës.
Today, the President of the Association of Women of the Kosovo Correctional Service, together with its members, was invited to a meeting by representatives of the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX). The purpose of the meeting was to gain closer insight into the work, role, and activities of the Association of Women of the Kosovo Correctional Service, as well as to exchange ideas and discuss new opportunities for cooperation and support from EULEX.
During the meeting, the importance of strengthening the role of women within the Kosovo Correctional Service was emphasized, as well as advancing professional capacities, representation, and the inclusion of women in decision-making processes. The EULEX representatives expressed their readiness to continue supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening the position of women and promoting gender equality within the Kosovo Correctional Service.
